It has been a long summer. Anytime family members are lost, it causes a ripple effect in much of all you do. I wanted to get back to this blog much sooner than this. I changed some things about it…colors, ect. I am not done, but for the time being, it will suffice. Fall is in the air, and it is a beautiful time of year. I love the richness of color and the idea of everything getting ready for a long winter. There is something very nurturing about that. In this post, I am sharing several pictures I took over the weekend. I find a simple corn stalk to be beautiful and unique with its various colors….from deep reds to the light browns. Many times simple weeds can have a wide range of color. And I couldn’t forget the apples. At our new (to us) home, we have apple trees. I have yet to get through all the applesauce from last year, but look forward to cooking this year’s crop. I have many things to catch up on through the blog. Everything from raspberry jam to various recipes I have tried to pictures. I hope you enjoy.
